Learn Ways to Prevent Cancer

Would you like to learn ways to help prevent cancer?

If so, then you are cordially invited to attend my Cancer Prevention Support Group. Discover how your consumption of every day foods and the effects of certain things in your immediate surroundings can have an impact on your health. Let me enlighten your life with tips to help in prevention. I will educate you on how to still the mind and relax the body to boost your immune system.

Please join me from 6:00pm to 7:30pm on the dates listed below:

Cost —The Support Group is at no cost to cancer patients and/or survivors. For all other participants, a donation towards the cost to facilitate such support groups would be greatly appreciated. A tax receipt will be issued from Universal Oneness United Faith Canada, an organization that works to facilitate on-going Grief Support and many other support groups.

Gather an understanding as to why
 the body becomes so toxic and the immune system becomes overburdened and breaks down. Review where and how we absorb toxins from in our everyday lives. Presentation of the Anti-Cancer Challenge Protocol to help you get started making these changes in 
your life.

Part 1

Presentation on food and what foods help you to fight off toxins and boost your immune system and which foods you need to consume less of and why.

Part 2

The key food groups to concentrate on such, as the Brassica family (cabbage, cauliflower, and broccoli), potassium, antioxidants, etc.

Trauma and health

The role trauma plays on your health and well being. Introduction to the 5 phases of grief and how grief breaks down the immune system.

Healing

The healing benefits of meditation are simple and it is easy to do. Learn in this session how to still the mind, relax the body and boost the immune system.

Free Weight Loss Support Group

Happy to announce that this summer Guru & Associates Wellness is launching an exciting pilot project that combines support, education and team work to help you lose weight  and embrace a healthier life. A recent study revealed greater happiness and optimism in individuals who had lower cholesterol and LDL levels

Alex Gellman, after completing her Ph D in homeopathy, did her research thesis on accelerating weight loss by healing through Homeopathy. Her hypothesis was that “thyroid is the underlying factor in obesity”.

The program ran for 6 months. All research subjects took the homeopathic remedy that would heal  the underlying reason the weight came on in the first place.  Some subjects also took a homeopathic remedy to boost thyroid function. The average weight loss for the group was 35 pounds per person.

The second group was given only the homeopathic remedy to boost thyroid and the average weight loss for this group was 5 pounds over 6 months.

The conclusion was that yes, we need to support thyroid functions; however if the underlying factors that led up to the weight gain are not addressed, it will be difficult to lose weight.

Some individuals have had a weight problem since they were children. This can also be addressed with homeopathic remedies.

Change is never easy for most folks and research tells us that the transition is made easier with the support of friends and family to help us integrate the new behaviors.

YOU are cordially invited to help create and form organically, this program designed to support you through the difficult changes involved in embracing a healthier life style.

The program will run on-line for easy access from, or you can join us in person at one of our two locations: Toronto or Erin (just north of Oakville).

See dates below for when we will be at each location if you wish to participate in person to get an extra boost of motivation.

Sharing progress reports and weight can be a motivating factor for some – or a nightmare for others, so sharing information of any kind is entirely optional. Choose to share, or not to share, but do come. You’ll get valuable nutritional advice and workout strategies, and healthy raw food recipes.

We will also explore how to heal from events that led to the weight gain and how to overcome “emotional eating” impulses. You’ll learn to identify your food sensitivities, how to boost your own particular metabolism, and gain helpful life habits to keep you on track. This holistic approach will contribute to your lifelong success.

Everyone is welcome to ask questions, share any concerns and experiences, or simply attend and observe. Even if you do not share or comment the content will help pave the road for greater compliance and healing.

On-Line participation is also available – again, with no obligation to share.

Seven Free Weight Loss Sessions Every Wednesday Evening Beginning July 10

Time: 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.

No special equipment is needed – just log on to the link you will receive from us.

Each participant will receive the work sheet for each workshop.

We require that you sign up so we can plan accordingly.
